The Luxury Wagon 2010 Mercedes Benz E Class

The luxury wagon business isn’t growing in the U.S. BMW is likely to scrub importation of its 5 Series wagon after the hatchback 5 Series Grand Touring makes its debut here, evening out the lux estate business as Cadillac adds the CTS Sports Wagon. The latest generation of the Mercedes Benz E Class wagon goes on sale in the U.S. in June 2010. Like the model it replaces, the E350 4MATIC Wagon will be available in only one powertrain configuration in our market; the 268-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 with seven speed automatic and the latest generation all-wheel-drive system. Suspension is Mercedes’ new Agility Control with active damping and self-leveling rear. -By Todd Lassa
